OPT Shines at CV Idol Auditions

Participants of Options, Pathways and Transitions Inc. auditioned for the annual CV Idol event on March 7, 2014. The singing competition is put on by another day program to showcase growth and confidence of those involved.

 

 

Nine OPT participants received a Golden Ticket to take part in the finale later this Spring.

OPT Olympics

Options, Pathways and Transitions Inc. held its Olympic Games February 20, 2014 at Champlain Community Centre. Participants competed in curling, skating and numerous other events at the indoor gym in the morning.

 

 

 

 

The afternoon saw three teams compete in timed activities and finished with medal presentations.

OPT 5th Anniversary Gala

Options, Pathways and Transitions Inc. celebrated its fifth anniversary on Jan 17, 2014 with a Gala evening at Canad Inns Polo Park.  Parents, caregivers, board members, staff and OPT day program participants attended the event.

 

 

The evening featured speeches, a photo presentation, live music and dancing.

OPT Christmas Concert 2013

The Holiday Season brings about numerous events for Options, Pathways and Transitions Inc. and its members. The day program held its Snowflake Ball Dance on Friday December 6, 2013 at Champlain Community Centre.

OPT Halloween 2013

Options, Pathways and Transitions Inc. offers participants social opportunities within the day program and in the community. Each Halloween, OPT programs special events to mark the day.

Camp Arnes 2013

Options, Pathways and Transitions Inc. strives to be a day program offering individuals the opportunity to experience all that life in our province has to offer. Part of that goal is the annual trip to Camp. In October, 2013 OPT attended Camp Arnes.

OPT participants enjoyed many outdoor activities such as horseback riding and the flying squirrel. OPT staff also organized indoor events like Minute to Win It, Hollywood Game Night and the OPT talent show.
